Job Title: Behavior Analyst, Children’s Behavioral Health Program

General Responsibilities
The Behavior Analyst is responsible for the development of clinical programming within the Residential Treatment Facility (RTF). He/she will develop and conduct individual behavioral assessments and develop residents’ behavior support plans. He/she will oversee the implementation of the residents’ behavior support plans, data collection and frequent data review. In addition, the behavior analyst will assist in the development and implementation of the residents’ Individual Service Plans (ISP). He/she will ensure that the programs are appropriate to the ages and populations served. The behavior analyst will work with educational team members to ensure that there is consistent programming across multiple environments. The behavior analyst will maintain regular communication with parents and facilitate family training. He/she will provide residential and educational staff with training and evaluation ensuring consistent implementation of resident specific programming. Position requires evening and weekend hours, as needed, to provide continuity of treatment and training of families/caregivers.
Basic Qualifications
Education/Training: Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Clinical Psychology or a closely related field.
Certifications/Licensure: Successful completion of employer provided certification in CPR, First Aid and Crisis Prevention/Intervention. A valid US Driver’s license and a minimum age of twenty-one (21) years old. Certification as a BCBA required.
Skill(s): Advanced skills in applied behavior analysis and evidence based treatments. Significant experience and training in functional behavior assessment including designing and conducting analog functional analyses, preference assessments, and the application of behavior analytic interventions for individuals with serious and persistent challenging behavior.
Experience: Experience in a neurobehavioral stabilization unit or intensive residential setting strongly preferred.
