My client, one of the most recognisable brands in the world for providing management consulting solutions to the markets is seeking a Benchmarking Analyst to join its expanding London Energy team. As one of the largest and most prestigious management consultancies in the world, this company is continuing to provide world class consulting for the Oil and Gas Industry.
The Role
The Benchmarking Analyst will join the expanding Oil and Gas benchmarking team who are responsible for helping to develop client insights into the Oil and Gas Industry. The position will involve playing an active role in delivering benchmarking studies including producing analysis of large data sets. It is a client facing role meaning you will liaise regularly with clients both over the phone and in face to face meetings and presentations. You will own benchmarking delivery tools and play a key role in continuing to develop the models and quantitative instruments that are using to produce this insight and analysis.
The Person
- You must have a strong academic background from a top tier university ideally in numerate subject such as Economics, Mathematics or a science (Geoscience or Earth Science would be a bonus).
- You must be educated to at least Masters Level.
- At least 2 years relevent Oil and Gas industry experience.
- Strong quantitative skills including Excel.
- Strong exposure to modelling using VBA, Matlab, C++ or alike would be ideal.
