This position will serve as the primary lead for Bendix King Product Support, responsible for all technical support activities. The Leader will have a team of approximately 10 individuals who will provide avionics dealers and general aviation pilots with world class technical support. This position requires extensive breadth and depth of experience in avionics products and services for general aviation aircraft. Responsibilities • Manage global call center and field support activities for B/K product support; responsible for budget and census targets along with maintaining appropriate SLAs to customers. • Interface with Engineering to provide feedback on systemic fielded product issues and ensure that permanent resolutions are put in place. • Responsible for knowledge management activities, including creation of technical publications, product support videos and technical solutions. • Work with I.T. to implement technology solutions (including CRM) that enable consistent and repeatable support activities. • Gather and collect customer satisfaction data and create action plans to improve service. • Manage Entry Into Service plans and associated activities included completion of all phase gates • Work with HW team managing navigation database delivery, ensuring Bendix King data is delivered in accordance with product strategy and brand promise. • Develop global talent by providing coaching, mentoring and direct supervision/guidance.

 

Basic Qualifications:• 5 years experience in Customer Support • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field of study Additional Qualifications:• 5 years experience in Aerospace, preferably in avionics • Highly self motivated • Excellent communication, collaboration, interpersonal and presentation skills

• Private pilot license (VFR rated at minimum)

• 5 years experience leading people • In-depth knowledge of Bendix King and competitor avionics products and technologies • Demonstrated ability to develop and foster strong customer relationships • Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution skills • Assumes ownership and accountability for areas of responsibility • Outstanding organizational skills with ability to prioritize
