Summary:

 

The Ecommerce Marketing Manager will be focused on managing programs that drive brand awareness, customer outreach, customer acquisition, and customer retention for the BenefitCosmetics.com site.

 

The Ecommerce Marketing Manager will manage and produce Benefit’s email programs, as well as drive Benefit’s online marketing programs (including, but not limited to, paid search, affiliate and comparison shopping engines, display media).  This individual will be the primary day-to-day contact for our digital advertising vendors. 

 

Essential duties and requirements:

 

·         Email Programs Promotions

o    Lead the planning and execution of our email marketing calendar, and recommend content and concepts that will engage and educate our email list.

o    Project manage all email development, reviews, edits, and approvals to meet established marketing calendar schedule and deliver highly effective emails to our fans and customers.

o    Manage relationships with other departments (Boutiques, Brow Bars, Marketing, International Markets) for whom we send emails or create email assets, in order to understand their goals, make recommendations, and traffic manage assets and sends.

o    Execute an increasing number of relevant, targeted emails based on demographic and behavioral information, including working on technical integration with our email service provider and other vendors as needed.

o    Evaluate the performance of all email sends, including the impact of promotional offers, and help us evolve both our metrics and our performance and effectiveness. Establish standard metrics and performance assessment practices, advocate for the best practices with our team.

o    Proactively recommend and oversee programs to attract and acquire qualified new subscribers to join our house email list. Options may include special refer-a-friend programs, contests and co-promotions, opt-in invitations, and updating other communications to include strong calls-to-action to subscribe.

o    Manage the relationship with our email service provider.

 

·         Search Engines Online Advertising

o    Oversee our paid search advertising campaigns to improve the performance and relevance of our spends.

o    Manage the relationship with our paid search vendor to drive efficiency and the performance of our paid search ad programs.

o    Communicate all new product launches, supply and review product copy and creative, and communicate upcoming promotions to drive effective campaigns.

o    Manage our metrics for performance of this spend and make recommendations on new markets to reach, changes to the program, as well as shifts in advertising spends.

o    Research and recommend appropriate tests for online advertising, oversee performance and make spend recommendations based on return on investment.

o    Project manage asset development for any new advertising efforts.

 

 

·         Affiliates Comparison Shopping

o    Manage our programs with organizations that drive referral sales to our site, namely affiliates and comparison shopping engines.

o    Provide content, assets, and updates to these partners, notify them of promotional offers.

o    Review performance and make recommendations about spend based on effectiveness of these programs.

 

·         Dashboards

o    Manage email and digital advertising dashboards and scorecards that help us evaluate the effectiveness of all our digital outreach programs.

o    Report on results and make recommendations to help grow brand awareness and sales.
