Job Description: The Tucson, ARizona office of CBIZ Benefits Insurance is currently seeking a highly motivatied individual to establish their career as a Benefits Customer Service Representative . Job Purpose/Objective:
Assist internal and external clients with needs, requests and problems in a timely manner. Ensure department goals are met through teamwork and collaboration.
- Strong customer focus
- Inputs data into the appropriate software for vendors/carriers/clients within required time frame.
- Records and makes necessary changes/updates as appropriate
- Ensure that all internal controls and proceedures are followed.
- Reseearch, communicate and accurately resolve basic customer service needs according to the commitments and standards set forth by the department
- Produce accurate benefits correspondence
- Exhibits client focused behavior and applies knowledge and trainng to support client needs.
- Comply with department processes, prodeedures and/or programs
- Effectively operates all department equipment and software applications
- Execute administrative duties as assigned
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred 1 year of relevent work experience, preference given to Insurance broker background. Must be proficient with excel spreadsheets Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently Must obtain and preserve required license/certifications, life and health at a minimum. Proficient use of application technology Demonstrate ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.
