BI Analyst Job in Horsham, Pennsylvania US
TITLE: Business Intelligence Analyst / BI Analyst / Data Warehouse Analyst / DW Analyst
DURATION: 6 months to HIRE
LOCATION: Horsham, PA

Primary responsibilities include:
Working with the business areas, developers and project management office to define and document system requirements for projects and system enhancements for our new and existing Data Warehouse applications
Translating business requirements into system requirements using use cases and interface document specifications
Maintaining system requirements/use cases in an IBM Rational RequisitePro Database
Documenting current workflows where requirements do not exist
Developing and presenting system process flows and prototypes to aid in the identification of system requirements.
Applying proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help support the development process and ensure project deliverables are met according to specifications.
Reviewing test plans for QA
Serving as a liaison between developers and business areas
Generating innovative ideas to solve problems
Qualifications
Required Experience:
3+ years experience gathering requirements as a system analyst
2+ years experience gathering and documenting requirements for Data Warehouses
2+ years experience with BI Tools, preferably MicroStrategy or SSIS
Experience creating data dictionaries
Experience with record layouts and data models
Experience with use case development
Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
Familiarity with a requirements management tool
Ability to facilitate requirement definition sessions with business end users
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Leadership experience is a plus
Bachelors degree
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with IBM Rational RequisitePro
Knowledge of version management tools
Knowledge of issue management tools
Experience with SQL stored procedures
Development background
