About the Job
Analyst BI
Based in Luxembourg, you will provide technical and application support to the Reporting and Finance Organization and will assist Functional Officers.
This role will include working closely with users to ensure process integrity as well as implement enhancements and participate in improvement initiatives related to reporting systems.
The person will be responsible of reporting and analysis systems (configuration, maintenance, system design, report development, go live, improving performance and resolving worldwide user issues)
Mission
1. Provide day to day support across the Finance organization
2. Maintains a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety objectives and policies
3. Plans, schedules and participates in software upgrades including testing patches and new releases
4. Develops documentation and training for end users
5. Identifies manual processes and makes recommendations for providing automated system solutions
6. May lead or participate in audits and interface with auditors to ensure understanding of financial data, methodology, and applicability under appropriate regulations
7. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of relevant discipline(s), industry best practices, trends, and applications. Advises Management on new developments and programs.
8. Works independently as well as in a team
9. May lead the work of less senior personnel
Knowledge and skills
1. University degree or equivalent work experience
2. Knowledge in Business Intelligence and Database administration:

Oracle Financial Management (HFM)

SAP Business Objects Suite (Deski, Webi, Designer, CMC, BO Dashboard)

3. Understanding of accounting and finance business processes
4. Possess excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
5. Good planning, time management and organization skills
6. French or Italian as mother tongue, Good level in English
7. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
8. Ability to develop and maintain professional and effective relationships with internal and external customer
