BI Engineer / Manager recruitment
Alexander ash is currently looking for recruit a senior BI Developer. My client a global retail organisation based in the UK is expanding its global presence. The organisation is looking to invest heavily in technology and looking to build a platform that will support the organisations growth. The success individual will need to have experience in the online / e-commerce domains. You will be working as part of a strong Agile team and you will be driving technology forward. The successful candidate will be working in a Matrix managed, fast paced engineer team. He / She will be responsible for the line management and career development of a small team. You will also be working in a cross functional team taking responsibility for the development teams derivable. You will work with the DB / BI teams, Architects, technical specialist and third party software vendors to make sure the team delivers to required quality and adheres to best practices. You will be expected to lead by example, be proactive and have a hand of approach to development whilst promoting good engineering practices. The successful candidate will need to have a solid background using Microsoft Business Intelligence stack focused on the following: T-SQL, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, datawarehousing techniques, methodologies and data modelling tools.
