BI Reporting Analyst - OBIEE

Position: BI Reporting Analyst - OBIEE

Responsibilities:

Understand, prioritize, design, and build reports/dashboards.
Will be working with mid to senior level management to understand their data needs.

Knowledge of database design and query optimization.
Presentation layer experience with reports; some user experience background and/or design background in creating reports that look professional.
Experience working with processes and determining reporting options (compliance, process deliverables, exception reporting, etc.)
Ability to manage and prioritize a reporting request queue.
Ability to identify source data systems and direct offshore developers to successfully migrate the data into a data warehouse.
Design and develop complex reports and dashboards for BI reporting platform with little or no supervision.
Develop Standard as well as Ad-Hoc Reports using a BI platform.
Hands-on experience with tuning multi-dimensional data models, creating metadata, building cubes and drill through in reports/dashboards.
Validating report results against requirements for consistency and accuracy.
Troubleshooting and analyzing data issues within reports.
Collaborating with internal customers to provide technical report assistance.
Enhance current custom reporting and present best practices across team.

Qualifications:

ETL experience
Data Modeling experience
Knowledge and experience with OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence) strongly preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services preferred
Report presentation expertise preferred (ie chart, graph presentation experience)
This position is Dayton-based, located in the Miamisburg office
