Bid Manager

I am recruiting on behalf of a private worldwide health organisation for a contract/bid manager.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be articulate and able to express him or herself clearly. You MUST be highly organised with the ability to multitask, attention to detail is also key for this role.

My client would consider candidates with specific experience of writing proposals - research proposals, bids, etc or a student/graduate with a background in writing essays. Project management skill would be a bonus but not essential. NHS/Healthcare experience would be a benefit.

You will proof read and edit bids, documents and presentations. You will have the ability to influence without authority - this person has no direct leadership but needs to be able to cajole, persuade and lead a range of people (sometimes the CEO) through the proposal process - essential to getting responses back on time and within the scope.
