Bid Writer - Decent Homes Repairs / Maintenance


My client is a leading Social Housing contractor operating within Decent Homes and Repairs / Maintenance markets, with a proven track record in delivering £Multi-Million contracts for Local Authorities, ALMO’s and RSL’s, across London and the surrounding Home Counties.

They are currently looking to recruit a Bid Writer with a proven track record, working for a main contractor preferably within the Social Housing / Maintenance markets, however candidates with construction or civil engineering experience will be considered. Typical contracts will include the following: response maintenance / void maintenance contracts, decent homes refurbishment, gas servicing, capital works, retrofit and energy sustainability.


Principal Accountabilities


** Managing the production of pre-qualification questionnaires and tender documents.

** Attending tender interviews.

** Attending client and tenant open days.

** Networking with clients and suppliers.

** Supporting community initiatives.

** Organising corporate hospitality.

** Building and maintaining client relationships.

** Planning and executing site visits for prospective clients.

** Organising and attending exhibitions and conferences.

** Customer care and resident liaison implementation.


Skills Experience


You will possess strong organisational and project management skills, an eye for detail and meticulous proof-reading and communication skills both written and verbal, together with the ability to meet tight deadlines.


Salary Benefits


On offer for the successful Bid Writer is a highly competitive salary of up to £35,000 (dependant on experience) as well as other fringe benefits including car / car allowance.
