Job Description:

Salary: $38,000 - $42,000

Department/Function:

Investor Reporting is responsible for maintaining the records for investors of various Investment Companies that offer investments such as Pooled Funds and Mutual Funds. Along with maintaining records, reporting is provided to unit-holders, all in accordance with government policies, tax laws and national policies.

Purpose:

The position will be primarily responsible for professionally answering all incoming Client and Advisor calls of the Client Services Unit.

Key Job Responsibilities:

- Assist in professionally answer all incoming Client and Advisor calls
- Complete Client and Advisor follow ups for LOI invoices, trade rejections, deletions and outstanding items
- Work with Dealerships and Clients to maximize efficiency
- Log, research and recommend solutions to problems from Clients or Advisors
- Work with Supervisor to produce accurate Quality+ and SLS statistics
- Inform Supervisors of any systemic problems
- Message all accounts with unusual activity
- Set up and monitor Print director functionality
- Specialized IROD reporting for Clients

Qualifications:

- 1-2 years experience with in a Mutual Fund Company or Financial Institution
- Post Secondary Education, preferably in Business or Finance
- Must possess excellent communications (written oral) skills
- Strong working knowledge of PC applications such as Word and Excel
- Sound knowledge of the Mutual Funds industry
- MUST have CFC or IFIC.

Preference will be shown for candidates who have:

- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course
- Completion of the Mutual Funds Operations Course (recommended upon employment)
- Previous experience using Unitrax

Other Requirements:

- Willingness to take Industry related courses
- Must be bilingual English/French), both oral and written
- Stay up-to-date with industry and tax regulation requirements and changes
- Ability to work overtime as required
