Bilingual Customer Service Associates (English/French Canadian)

** Work 8:00 am- 5:00pm Monday to Friday!- No Weekends! Starting Pay $16/hr**
Due to company growth, our Welland Customer Contact Centre is building a new team of Bilingual Customer Service Associates (English/French Canadian). We are actively seeking to hire individuals who have a passion for researching and validating data, strong computer skills, and are committed to truly helping customers each and every day.
As a Bilingual Customer Service Associate you will be responsible for:
- Updating business and financial records of entities.
- Partnering closely with customers and internal stakeholders to conduct new credit investigations, identifying if there is new data that can be collected on behalf of the customer to help make business decisions.
- Advise customers on current client promotions, pricing, and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with individuals/teams in the program to ensure high quality and timely expedition of customer requests.
- Other duties as required to provide exceptional customer service
For this position we require:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a professional customer service environment
- Completion of High School or Equivalent (additional customer service experience may be considered)
- Post Secondary Education is an asset
- The ability to speak, read and write fluently in both English and French Canadian
- High energy and a positive attitude
- The ability to type a minimum of 20 words per minute
- Previous sales experience is an asset
- Commitment to providing quality customer service
- Excellent customer service and communication
- The ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
- Flexibility for scheduling during operating hours (including holidays)
- The ability to navigate multiple applications in a windows environment
