Bilingual Macroeconomic & International Policy Researcher recruitment
Preferred spoken languages are English Mandarin Chinese (OR) English 1 - 2 European Languages. These specific Foreign language skills are required.

This position will:
- Partner with company investment professionals to interpret International government policy and data.
- Conduct extensive self-directed research that will answer questions in regards to varied policy related topics
- Identify, understand, monitor and analyze government policy, global macroeconomic data and market trends to inform on which policy questions may have an impact on company portfolios. Produce a weekly report summarizing findings for company executives.
- Leverage an excellent understanding of government economic policy to think of new ways to educate, inform and add value
- Alert executives to specific global government regulation that could affect the markets.
- Work side-by-side with senior researcher to support on long term research projects.

QUALIFICIATIONS:
- Masters or PhD preferred.
- Demonstrated success in identifying and applying macroeconomic and political analysis through relevant experience either through PhD program or full-time research experience. Preference is for those with no more than 8 years’ experience due to the level of this position.
- Background and education in macroeconomics and political economy.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese highly preferred, (OR) fluency in 1, but preferably 2, European languages.
- Extensive writing experience through publication of academic white papers.
- Familiarity with the markets preferred.
- Resourceful, motivated, curious.
