Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Retail Services Analyst is responsible for solving complicated, non-routine problems received through retailer or senior management feedback. Will communicate with customers regarding commission guidelines, lease documents, agreement terms and procedure requirements. Records information into systems and administers these systems for analysis and process improvement.
- Will be responsible for preventing, detecting and resolving retailer fraud with respect to commission payments and promotions.
- Defines process improvements and recommends the appropriate implementation steps toward improved retailer support and processing time.
- Will spend considerable time working on functional requirements documentation for information system solutions to new or changing business rules.
- Receives, evaluates, researches and resolves issues that have been elevated and require a higher level of expertise.
- Maintains a 48 hour turnaround time in communications to retailers on all payment related issues.
- Conducts research related to commission inquires: activation fees, residual and tiered payments, promotional commissions, check fees and charge backs.
- Responsible for identifying these issues, determining appropriate action(s) to be taken and escalating as appropriate, demonstrating follow through to ensure problem resolution.
- Communicate retailer information to other company staff as appropriate. Create, explain and maintain spreadsheets on retailer problems.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years of related experience in Retail Services work environment.
