Experis (formerly COMSYS) is seeking a tenured Help Desk professional who are bilingual in English and Spanish or Portuguese. Contract to hire opportunity on the west side of Houston. If you meet the requirements below and available immediately please respond with your most recent resume.
The primary functions will be to log and resolve calls and provide excellent customer service.
Job Description
- Handle and record all IT service related requests via telephone, email and web interface
- Perform initial assessment of service requests and attempt to resolve and/or escalate to the second or third
line support, based on agreed service levels
- Monitor and escalate, as required, all service requests to meet agreed service levels
- Keep the customer informed on the status of their service requests
- Provide first line hardware and software support
- Document procedures to share with others in the team
- Responsible for maintaining customer accounts via Active Directory or similar tool
- Perform other duties necessary for the employee to fulfill company needs
Skills / Experience / Qualifications
- Candidate should have excellent oral, written and customer service skills, especially an exceptional telephone manner, and be able to communicate in a professional, customer-friendly language
- Preferably a minimum of one year experience in a service desk or help desk environment
- Knowledge of PC hardware and software including Citrix and Microsoft products (i.e.: XP, Office, etc.) in a mostly Dell environment
- Experience with Cisco phones, Cisco CallManager and the Altiris helpdesk application preferred
