Bilingual Translator
Aimco Staffing Solutions and The People Bank Scarborough Office are currently recruiting for our client in the Publications industry who is seeking a Bilingual French Translator. The position is located in the Durham region and pays $ 17-21/hr depending on experience.
Job Description:
Responsible for translating publication materials, marketing materials, newsletters, and miscellaneous other documents as needed from English to French-Quebecois.
Qualifications:
Excellent English and French (read, write and speak)
3-5 years plus in Translating Quebec French to English documents
Document Proofreading/Editing experience
Graphics experience working with Photoshop required- working with newsletters, flyers, press kits
Strong computer competency (MS Office and Excel)
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English
Ability to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy while working under time constraints
Excellent organization and problem solving skills
The ideal candidate will be a quick learner capable of adjusting to an ever changing work environment
Strong customer service skills
