Role Summary/Purpose
Develop and maintain bill of material for Bottom Freezer refrigerators with world class accuracy. Lead transition of BOM to new ERP software.

Essential Responsibilities
* Process Business Change Notifications (BCNs) completely and correctly and coordinate changes with Material Control Leaders and the Master Scheduler. * Represent materials in weekly Change Implementation Board meetings (CIB) and communicate potential changes to team. * Work cross functionally with Engineering/Materials/Operations to ensure pilot runs are coordinated successfully on assembly lines. * Maintain changeover sheets/cheat sheets/inventory prep sheets to facilitate production, an accurate scrap process, and a successful physical inventory. * Own the Plan for Every Part data base and ensure accuracy by working with the material control leaders. * Manage suppliers/parts as a material control leader as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements
* BS Engineering or equivalent.* Materials experience.* Strong systems capabilities.* Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.* Customer focus, high energy and aggressive approach to issues.* Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.

Desired Characteristics
* Six Sigma certification with experience in DMAIC, workout and other change mechanisms.* OMLP Graduate.* Previous experience leading production/mfg team.* Supplier management experience.*Experience with Oracle software.
