POSITION SUMMARY
We are interested in candidates with strong analytical skills and demonstrated relationship building capabilities, seeking the challenge of growing a world class global payment organization (BlackBerry Payment Services Organization - BBPS) at the hub of wireless innovation. The Developer Accounts Associate, EMEA will be responsible for quality account management including developer payment, sales reconciliation and relationship management. The successful candidate will foster collaborative working relationships with Billing and Financial Management, Order Management and Account Management colleagues in the US and Canada. The incumbent will ensure client satisfaction for all BBPS EMEA developer accounts and key contacts, under the guidance of the Manager, EMEA Accounts Management.
RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate's responsibilities include:
- Executing developer payments, sales reconciliation and relationship management.
- Providing content provider payment support.
- Coordinating localized developer support activities including; Master records management and Developer agreements and disclosures.
- Acting as point of contact for developer technical support issues.
- Preparing developer tax collection and tax remittance.
- Monitoring Tax Compliance with BlackBerry AppWorld guidelines (in collaboration with subject matter experts).
- Monitoring current tax developments and emerging issues, risks and compliance and apply gained knowledge to BBPS EU EMEA.
- Proactively develop relationships with key users and provide RIM Product Development and Maintenance group with developer feedback on product and process improvements.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Finance or Business Administration, or equivalent required
- In addition to fluent English, French and /or German language
- Progressive experience in a finance/accounts/billing support role, preferably in the wireless industry
- Proven success delivering excellent customer service in a telephone based customer facing role
- Strong customer focus and relationship development with emphasis on speedy and accurate service delivery
- Highly organized with strong analytical skills
- Experience working within the developer community considered an asset
