Billing EPIC Credential Trainer

All the primary duties within this document will be performed according to established policies, procedures and guidelines within the department and the Medical Center .

JOB SUMMARY:

Provides end user training for one or more Epic@NHRMC applications. The Credentialed Trainers will assist in the testing and implementation of end user training environments and training materials. They are integral members of the

Epic@NHRMC training teams. They must complete NHRMC's credentialed trainer" requirements .

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

1. Train NHRMC end users, including super users and implementation team members.

2. Monitor training progress and report critical issues as they arise.

3. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of training policies, procedures, and training materials for assigned applications.

4. Serve as an integral member of the appropriate training team, becoming familiar with assigned aspects of the Epic applications; demonstrate strong team trainer and morale building qualities throughout the project.

5. Responsible for mastering assigned Epic applications and NHRMC's workflows; fulfills credentialed trainer" requirements.

6. Effectively demonstrates the mission, vision and values of NHRMC on a daily basis.

7. Performs other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree preferred in a clinical science, computer science, business, education, military personnel field with excellent leadership, presentation and communication skills or comparable work experience.

2. Licensure / Certifications: None.

3. Experience: Demonstrate effective teaching/presentation skills in formal and informal setting. Knowledge of healthcare delivery, clinical practice, and healthcare operational support. Experience with Electronic Health Record systems is highly desired. Demonstrated knowledge of training program development, coordination and communications. Skills in IT training to successfully manage a complex training program. Knowledge of hospital operations and structure. General knowledge of EHR requirements and / or clinical systems in a large integrated delivery system.

Skills Required:

4. Hours of Work: Flexible work schedule of 40 hours that consists of some days, nights, weekends and holidays.
