Role Synopsis Under minimal supervision the Billing Manager will drive process standardization, efficiency operational improvements in a newly formed billing organization in the Gulf of Mexico and implement the structure in other geographical locations. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities Oversee day to day operations by ensuring invoices are created and transmitted to customers accurately and timely Will also work with internal and external customers to resolve billing collection issues and participate in internal customer audits Train and mentor new and experienced billers Prepare and distribute billing / revenue reports showing progress toward key performance measurements Handle other duties and projects assigned Basic Qualifications Bachelor ??s Degree is required 5+ years experience in Billing is required 3+ years supervisory experience required Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task Advanced attention to detail while being able to understand and meet higher level company goals Must be able to work well in firm deadline environment Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills a must Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Programs with Excel being a must Desired/Preferred Qualifications Financial reporting experience is preferred Six Sigma certification is a plus Knowledge of SAP Experience with managing financial budgets preferred.
