Billing/Sales Ledger Assistant

I am looking for a confident and proactive Sales Ledger Clerk to join a successful, medium-sized company in West London on a permanent basis. I am looking for the following skill set:

Sales Ledger
-Raising and issuing invoices in a timely manner
-Creation of new customer accounts
-Managing the month end closure of the sales ledger
-Maintaining debtors ledger and analysis
-Resolving queries from customers
-Reconciling the inter-company balances at month end
-Assisting Finance Manager with relevant cash flow information for forecast

Credit Control
-Ensuring payments are received to agreed terms with customers
-Chasing outstanding balances via telephone and email
-Record all customer accounts accurately
-Performing credit checks on new and existing customers

For your application to be considered please look at the following:
- Minimum of 2 years experience of the full sales ledger process including manually raising staged invoices
- Some experience of credit control including taking agency reports and interpreting them
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Be computer literate including intermediate Excel skills
- Have an understanding of VAT
