Binding Authority Manager (Global Broking Centre

 
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Binding Authority Manager within Aon Global Broking Centre based in London.  The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that the growing portfolio of binding authorities placed by the Global Broking Centre will be operated in accordance with current and future Lloyd's and FSA requirements. 
 
The individual will also be responsible for managing the relationship between the GBC and both the Lloyd's Coverholder Department and the relevant Binding Authority Compliance teams within the Managing Agents.
 
As Binding Authority Manager your key responsibilities will include:  
 
Ensuring that all contractual requirements are being met in the operation of DAs and MFAs
Where Aon Ltd are the Coverholder under a delegated authority, ensuring only approved GBC staff are transacting business under such arrangements
For all Lloyds placed DAs / MFAs, ensuring that registration on Lloyds web based systems is accurately maintained, acting as co-ordinator between the GBC and ARS offices globally
Maintaining database of all Third Party Coverholders for which ABL act as Lloyds broker
Working with GBC divisions to ensure maintenance of up to date Agreements for DAs and MFAs
Facilitating both internal and external regulatory meetings concerning binder management
Ensuring provision of monthly and quarterly MI to insurers as required in DAs and MFAs
Ensuring that all future regulatory requirements are understood and complied with
 
As Binding Authority Manager your skills and qualifications will include:  
 
Proven solid experience of working in a Lloyd's Agent or broker
Ability to work with DA and MFA contracts
Knowledge of Lloyds working practices
Ability to manage own work within a recognized project management framework
Strong business analysis skills
