Biomedical Technician
Adecco Engineering and Technical has an opening at Emory Hospital in the greater Atlanta area for a Biomedical Technician for a three month contract position. The positions will be responsible for responding to service calls to evaluate, diagnose, perform repairs, and planned maintenance on advanced biomedical equipment and to promote customer satisfaction through Service Excellence. Responsibilities Perform planned maintenance, repair equipment, and perform safety and environmental inspections while maintaining and improving customer relations Follow and guide others as needed regarding client's policies, procedures, and uphold proper documentation at all times Engage in daily communications with customers while keeping a positive client image in the position Work effectively within a team setting while sharing on-call/pager responsibilities Enhance and maintain proper technical knowledge of client's equipment and current standards while effectively instructing staff through formal instruction May be called upon to perform role of Site Leader for other Biomedical Technicians as needed Meet or exceed all Health and Human Services, Environmental Health and Safety requirements and all other applicable requirements Requirements Minimum of High School Diploma or GED and minimum of one year of the following Military Experience, Formal Training of Maintaining Electronics, Electromechanical or Medical Equipment Training, Associates Degree in Electronics or Mechanical Principles Minimum of four years of troubleshooting and maintaining biomedical equipment Experience with Respiratory and Anesthesiology Proficiency in completing electronic documentation using PDA or CPU Experience creating and maintaining positive customer relations Willingness to travel to other sites as needed Must have a valid driver's license Additional Desired Qualifications Certified Biomedical Electronics Technician (CBET) Previous experience interpreting schematic diagrams and performing effective repair and maintenance previous experience within a hospital setting Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers The Adecco Group is the world's leading provider of HR solutions.
