RESPONSBILITIES:
- The Biopharmaceutical Sales Specialist provides Territory Business Plan coinciding with Pall fiscal year
- Secure orders from existing and potential customers by means of visiting the customer facility or contacting by phone
- Secure opportunities to quote on customer requirements and follow up on quotation to secure orders
- Provide technical service when appropriate to solve customer problems and ensure customer satisfaction with Pall products
- Establish professional customer vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel in the Biopharmaceutical market with the purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, management, and other key personnel
- Provide written and verbal communication covering status of the territory goals and objectives in a timely fashion
- Need to maintain a high degree of technical expertise through product and application knowledge
- Performs other safe, legal, ethical, duties essential to achieving the business or operational goals
- Exceeds required visibility in the field as required by the Vice President of Biopharmaceutical Sales
- Provide annual, quarterly, and monthly sales plans and projections to attain required sales growth and goals as required by management
- Provide written and verbal communication covering the status of the territory goals and objectives in a timely fashion
- Maintain a high degree of technical expertise through product application knowledge
Industry bioprocess experience is a huge plus, and/or chromatography, validation, filtration and separation experience. Having this technical foundation is very beneficial for their clientele. Key attributes reflective within the Biopharmaceutical Sales Specialist is someone that is personable and outgoing. They need to possess strong strategic abilities and problem solving skills. They should display a very positive outlook and thrive on challenge. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with customers and all levels of the organization.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, engineering, or related technical area. 5 years of outside/inside sales experience in related fields and similar industry experience. Must have intermediate to proficient knowledge in MS Office Suite(Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
