BIOS QA Engineer Job in San Jose 95134, California US
Description:
You will be part of a next generation data center products. Work also involves providing constant feedback to hardware and software teams for improvements. Write test plans, execute test cases independently. Contribute to automation scripting.
Required Skills/Experience:
•1+ years of strong BIOS background.
•Study industry specifications, vendor's hardware documentation, then verify the firmware behavior and conformance.
•Must have experience with debug BIOS, OS, hardware, and driver issues.
•Experience in validation labs.
Highly desirable Skills/Experience:
•Experience with x86 Assembly language and/or C/C++ programming language.
•Proficient in legacy PC.
•Strong knowledge of Tiano based BIOS.
•Strong knowledge of PC hardware and operating systems.
•Good understanding of software quality assurance processes and methodologies.
•Understanding of Linux OS behaviors an advantage.
•Understanding of Windows OS behaviors.
•Understanding of Networking an advantage
