My client, a leading commodities firm based in Canary Wharf requires an experienced Bladelogic consultant to come on board for an initial 6 months contract.
The successful candidates will be working on a project to deliver a reduction in release costs, improve the environment availability and ensure operational integrity.
The company require an experienced Bladelogic consultant to deliver the auto deployment from its applications.
This position requires an extensive background in BMC technologies, with a demonstrated ability to execute well thought out POCs to develop and implement solutions in a global, mission-critical environment. This position will be responsible for the implementation, configuration and rollout of the BMC BladeLogic Server Automation Suite.
Experience
· Extensive Knowledge of BMC BladeLogic Automation suite of products
· Experience orchestrating and configuring the BMC BladeLogic Server Automation Suite.
· Experience working closely with a UNIX, Linux and Windows server administration teams through the diagnosis and resolution of configuration related issues.
· Strong experience working in scripting in a variety of languages, including PERL, VB, etc. and working with regular expressions, to support IT Systems - Administration - Understanding of business service management and IT Service Automation
· Good working knowledge of HTTP, SSL, DNS, J2EE, LDAP, XML,.NET, Web Services, SQL Server
· Strong analytical skills, Strong Troubleshooting skills, organised and detail-oriented; self-directed
Overview:
Location: Canary Wharf
Rate: £450 -550 per day
Length: initial 6 months
