Bloomberg Credit Derivatives Product Specialist recruitment

The Role:
Bloomberg is looking for a number of credit and credit derivative specialists to join our rapidly expanding sales specialist team in promoting our leading technology and services.

The successful candidate will join a highly motivated team and be responsible for representing the suite of Bloomberg Professional solutions to both potential and existing credit/credit derivative clients in London. Experience with Bloomberg desirable and ability to work in a team sales environment is integral.

As a Bloomberg Credit Product Sales Specialist (TREP), you will be expected to sell extremely sophisticated Bloomberg functionality to high-level users and prospects. Typically you will have gained experience within the banking/finance sector either at a financial institution or in the vendor space and be looking for a fresh challenge in a competitive, product-led sales environment.

Responsibilities:
- Significant prospecting calls to existing accounts and identify new business opportunities
for the Bloomberg terminal and ancillary products within the credit space.

- Arrange and execute client visits to understand your customers/prospects work-flow and
promote the relevant Bloomberg Professional solutions.

- Develop an understanding of and ability to displace competitive products on client
desk-tops in favor of the Bloomberg Professional Service.

- Meet key decision makers and build a community of users within your specialist area to
ensure Bloomberg is the pre-eminent work-flow solution across your territory.

- Influence future product development and evolution of the Bloomberg Professional Service
to ensure we meet and anticipate client requirements and stay ahead of the competition.

- Be able to formulate and execute an aggressive sales strategy that is relevant to your
specialist area for your territory.

- Play an integral role in the internal training and development of the European sales force
in your specialist derivative area.

- Stay informed about the financial markets in order to spot trends, look for new
opportunities and establish credibility with our clients by understanding their business.

- Engage in self development to maintain and improve knowledge of the Bloomberg system,
which constantly evolves as new data and analytical tools are added.
