Bloomberg Industries – Government Affairs Analyst recruitment

DESCRIPTION
Bloomberg Industries provides a comprehensive view of an industry and its key constituents and, combined with the power of the Bloomberg Professional® service, gives you unsurpassed depth and breadth at the sector, industry and company levels.

We are looking for at least one candidate that has experience within Bloomberg Global Data and a second that has Washington policy experience.

Note: The locations for these positions will be in Princeton, NJ and Washington DC. One candidate must be full time in Washington DC, and the other will have to work a minimum of 2 days per week in Washington, DC, the remainder in Princeton, NJ.

The responsibility of both positions will be as follows:
* Identify, research and prioritize key legislation and regulation by industry.
* Maintain a BI legislative/regulatory focus list.
* Facilitate the creation of research between BGOV and BI analysts.
* Coauthor research on certain cross industry legislation/regulation for use in the BI function on the Bloomberg terminal.

QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree, or equivalent working experience, in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
* CFA certification or MBA degree preferred.
* Must have 4+ years progressively responsible experience with federal government policy analysis.
* Must have prior experience with advanced concepts, practices, procedures of finance accounting; experience interpreting financial statements performing quantitative financial analysis.
* Must have strong project management and writing skills.
