The Company

Bloomberg New Energy Finance is the world's leading provider of industry information and
analysis to investors, corporations and governments in clean energy, low carbon technologies

The Role

We are looking for a sales assistant to a team of approximately 20 people. We are looking
for someone with excellent interpersonal skills who is well organised, proactive, flexible and
able to deal with a wide range of responsibilities.
-Identify new business opportunities through determining and qualifying ideal contacts at
prospective client institutions.
-Set up meetings and help execute sales activities for new and existing customers.
-Assist in the preparation of major sales activities, such as mailing pre-sales call materials
to prospective clients, preparing content presentations and sales packs
-Database maintenance
-Prepare standard sales and renewal reports
-Provide support for any events which could include managing invitations, preparing
marketing materials are ready, helping with any logistics

Qualifications:

We are looking for a high-energy and productive individual. The successful candidate must
have excellent interpersonal skills, be a self-starter, have a high work-rate, be able to
multi-task, and pay attention to detail. A flexible and personable approach is essential.
The ideal candidate for the role will have the following qualifications and experience:
-Good academic credentials
-Knowledge of and interest in the renewable energy and low-carbon technology sectors and
markets.
-Ability to interact well and engage with senior management at global institutions and
coordinate activity with multiple people at major accounts.
-Very strong organizational and time management skills.
-Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a busy environment.
-Excellent communication skills
-Attention to detail and professionalism.
-Good level of PC literacy
-Flexible and 'can-do' attitude
-Foreign language skills a distinct advantage.
