Bloomberg Vault Senior Sales Representative recruitment
The Role
We are looking for an entrepreneurial Bloomberg Vault Senior Sales Rep (VREP) based in New York to help expand our new cloud compliance, archiving, and eDiscovery business in the US sales region. The Bloomberg VREP is a senior sales representative who is responsible for making the Bloomberg Vault the leading cloud archiving service and the information governance solution of choice in the financial services industry. The role reports into the Financial Products Group as a core part of the team launching this new business. Utilizing their specialized knowledge, the VREP will strive to maximize revenue growth for Bloomberg Vault, aggressively prospect for new business, and have a clear understanding of client needs within the information governance market. The VREP will have a comprehensive understanding of our compliance and eDiscovery product offerings and identify opportunities to introduce our products to new clients. They will target clients of competing products and execute on a strategy for displacement.
Qualifications:
-At least 5 years successful track record in client facing role, preferably sales
-Strong specialized knowledge in Legal, Compliance, or IT
-Entrepreneurial mindset, an ability to adapt and learn a new market. Proven prospecting capabilities and a hunter mentality. Ability to drive enterprise sales cycles
-Experience in driving and executing competitor displacements
-Ability to successfully partner with Product, RD, and Marketing to close transactions
