BMC Atrium Discovery and Dependency Mapping (ADDM) Developer
Location: Raleigh, NC
Senior Developer for technical implementation for ADDM product.
• Installation/Configuration of the discovery tool
•Implemented discovery solutions for different customers
•Implemented CMDB on customer site handled alone to Manage the Customer IT Infrastructure for Business Service Mapping and Integrations
•Discovered all Applications and Databases to cover the Whole IT Infra structure at the Customer Environment, which include custom applications
•Integration of Discovery tool with CMDB which includes creation of Datasets and reconciliation rules.
Skills Required:
Knowledge on Native Discovery scripting language
Broad knowledge of UNIX and Windows operating systems and APIs.
Good experience with Python.
In depth object oriented programming language experience.
Experience working in cross-functional, multi-site teams.
Development experience using agile methodology.
Competent in Network and Computer Communications and Protocols.
Knowledge on Windows, Linux, Solaris and ESX is desirable
Certifications:
Certification on ITIL, Discovery tool will be added advantage
