Our client wishes to appoint a board-level Director to strengthen their blue-chip client services division. They will implement a robust strategy to enhance their market share of the work awarded by major construction contractors. The corporate head office is based in Manchester.
About the Client:
Their client portfolio includes a number of well-known brand names. Our client prides itself on thought leadership within design-and-build contracting. Our client's turnover exceeds £10m and over the last five-year period has climbed from £4m. Their growth is organic, and they have ensured that the profitability of the work they secure has not been affected by this growth. The next five-year plan will see turnover grow to £15m. They are, regionally, one of the largest commercial fit-out contractors working with DB capabilities. They work in a number of other sectors, including health and education. Recently, they have developed relationships with a number of larger construction companies.
About the Role:
You will take on the responsibilities of the design-and-build division of the major projects division of the company;
As a Director, you will sit on the board of the company with two shareholding Directors;
You will be responsible for the growth of the division; although, this will not be an out-and-out business-development role;
You will develop the major projects division with your experience of working for blue-chip construction clients;
You will install the operating procedures to attract further work with blue-chip client.
About the Candidate:
You will have a comprehensive professional background within mechanical or electrical building services;
You will, ideally, currently be in a director-level role for a similar company;
Regionally, you will be known as a successful building-services professional who is well-connected to you client community.
You will wish to take on the responsibilities of a board Director in a £15m company, and have a proven track record of success in a similar role.
You will be based with an easy commute to Manchester.
