Position Description
Description: Lead and direct the marketing of Boeing Commercial Airplane (BCA) products and features to customers. Utilize customer, market, industry and product knowledge to creatively develop and present the value of BCA airplane products and features directly to airline customers, leasing companies, media, investors, appraisers and other key constituencies. Serve as the company expert on BCA products, features, and on competitors products. Represent BCA to high-level executives at the airlines and leasing companies. Participate in the development of campaign strategies. Synthesize and communicate across BCA the customers product requirements. Assist in the development of product strategies, product marketing strategies and product marketing communication strategies. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics: Deep and broad knowledge of the technical characteristics, features, and capabilities of commercial airplane products, features, and competing products. Knowledge of aircraft configuration, structures, components, systems, flight deck, aircraft handling qualities, performance, and flight operations. Outstanding presentation skills. Ability to creatively develop and persuasively present the value of airplane products. General understanding of the commercial airplane market environment. Ability to assess the relative fit of BCA products to meet customers needs. Prior leadership experience. Proven ability to effectively team with and lead cross-functional groups. Strong analytical ability and sound judgment. Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills. Proficient with PowerPoint. Engineering experience required. Prior assignments with direct customer contact preferred. Prior Marketing experience preferred.
