Our client is a Successful Global Investment Bank with a continued focus on building out their Asia office. This provides an excellent career platform for the successful candidate to develop their long-term career within the organization. Due to expansion headcount, they are currently looking to take on a suitable candidate within their equities financial control team at Analyst level.
As part of the Bonds Financial Control team, you will be responsible for the completion of monthly, quarterly and yearly closing and statutory accounts preparation. You will ensure all reporting is compliant with IFRS and prepare the quarterly packs for submission to group, analyzing financial statement movements and ensuring strong controls are in place. An ability to help with process streamlining and automation will be an extremely strong advantage. This team will suit a Finance candidate with a solid technical skills and a good attitude and willingness to learn.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in Finance
- Strong Excel and VBA / Macros skill
- Accounting qualification or Part qualified. E.g. CA / ACCA / CPA / CIMA
- Exposure to Banking is a pre-requisite, either through external audit or direct experience
- Understanding of Finance Accounting is required even if not solid in IFRS
- Excellent communication skills, self-starter and a good team player
