Book-Keeper recruitment

Established Trade Finance business seeks a Bookkeeper on a permanent basis to support the newly appointed Head of Finance to work to build out the finance function in London.

The company deals with trade moving from Europe and has historically outsourced the finance function to an offshore location. Your role will be to support the build out of the finance function of the new subsidiary, permanently based in London. The existing systems will be lifted from the current business and will need to be brought in line with best practice.

Responsibilities will include accurately recording the day-to-day financial transactions of the organization. You will be responsible for the daybooks consisting of purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. You will be responsible for ensuring all transactions are recorded in the correct day book, supplier's ledger, customer ledger, general ledger and producing a trial balance.

With previous book-keeping experience and working closely with the head of finance you will be able to add value to the newly formed finance function and accurately recording all transactions to trail balance. You must be able to evidence prior Book-keeping experience.
