Job Description

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be working in a standalone bookkeeping position. This permanent Part-Time position will be managing the books of three different entities. Working a three-day week with reduced daily hours, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

  • Manage the full financial function of both the parent company and its two smaller entities
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices
  • End to end payroll processing
  • Data entry into MYOB
  • Bank statement, credit cards and petty cash reconciliations
  • Experience with BAS / IAS and FBT reporting
  • Assist the external accountant with year end reporting

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant will have a stable background in a bookkeeping capacity. Experience with MYOB and a Mac OS is essential, as there will be no systems training given for the position. Due to the close knit nature of the team, cultural fit is paramount for your success in this role. Our client is seeking someone who is absolutely trustworthy and has a track record for producing accurate and timely results. Personable and professional communication skills are required when liaising with both external and internal stakeholders. A genuine appreciation or passion for design will be looked upon favourably as well as past exposure to a similar parallel industry or business.
