Bookkeeper / Assistant Accountant

A central London based Media Events Company are looking for an energetic and dedicated Bookkeeper to join their vibrant team on a permanent basis. The Company are growing year upon year and are looking for someone who shares their enthusiasm for growth and can fit into their company culture.

The day-to-day activities will include:
Purchase Sales Ledger.
Credit Control.
Company Credit Card processing.
Ensure accuracy, date, margins and outstanding purchase orders.
Maintain and reconcile 10 banks accounts on a daily basis.
Maintain electronic banking system.
VAT returns for 4 companies.
Monitor company overheads – cost v budget / variance analysis.
Building maintenance Service Charge Calculation (Half yearly).
Petty cash employee expenses i.e. phones healthcare.
Fixed asset register maintenance.
Payroll.

The successful candidate will be:
Have experience in the Media Industry.
Experience in Sage Line 50 is an advantage but not essential.
Outgoing sociable personality.
Over three years experience in finance.
Have worked for an SME Company previously.
Dedicated and hard working.
