Bookkeeper Job in Deerfield Beach 33442, Florida US

General Duties:

·         Performs payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable

·         Payroll includes multiple sets of books for multiple companies and processing commissions
·         Receives, approves, and, when necessary, investigates Company’s accounts payable invoices

·         Codes payables for accounts payable

·         Communicates (both in verbal and written form) with employees, suppliers, vendors, and banking contacts

·         Prepares appropriate schedules and reports as requested

·         Handles accounts receivable and bank reconciliation

·         Performs other duties as assigned from time to time

 

Education/Experience:

 

·         Minimum of five (5) years of accounting or bookkeeping experience including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger and financial reports

·         Knowledge of regulatory requirements of processing payroll accounting transactions and payroll returns

·         Experience with sales industry a major plus

 

Skills/Qualifications:

 

·         Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism

·         Ability to operate calculator, computer, and other general office equipment

·         Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, in English

·         Must be very organized and detail oriented

·         Must be proficient in Excel

·         QuickBooks experience required
