Bookkeeper Job in Lynnwood 98037, Washington US

Well-established manufacturing company seeks a full-time bookkeeper to work closely with the Controller to handle the accounting functions of the company.  The successful candidate will have prior experience in payroll and general ledger accounting as well as an understanding of the relationship between all accounting functions.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

·         Payroll Administration

·         Human Resource functions, including the processing of employee insurance, 401(k), leave accruals, and profit sharing programs

·         Fixed Assets tracking and recording of assets and depreciation

·         Preparation of financial statements

·         General Ledger functions to include recording and amortizing prepaid expenses, journal entry preparation and entry, and Balance Sheet account reconciliation

·         Accounts Receivable and Account Payable Maintenance

·         Daily Bank Reconciliation

 

Qualifications:

 

The successful candidate will have a minimum of an associate’s degree in accounting, coursework toward a bachelor’s degree in accounting, or commensurate experience.  Candidate must be able to work in a paperless environment and be well-organized and deadline-driven.  Candidate must have experience with all Microsoft Office products.  Additionally, experience with Microsoft Dynamics in a manufacturing environment is highly desired.
