A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Bookkeeper / Officer Manager to join our client, York's largest independent cycle retailer, specialising in the retail and repair of cycles.

This is the ideal role for a confident user of Sage Line 50 with experience in an accounting role to join a small, family run but growing company.

As a Bookkeeper / Officer Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day company bookkeeping, management accounts and payroll. You will also efficiently run the accounts office and provide additional administrative support.

To be considered for this role, you must have experience in a similar role, such as bookkeeper, purchase ledger or accounts assistant. Experience of using Sage Line 50 is also essential.

As a team player, you must have superb communication and interpersonal skills and an organised approach. A proactive attitude and the ability to work to deadlines are also key.
The ideal Bookkeeper / Officer Manager will have an accountancy qualification, but this is by no means essential.
