Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant

Hays Accountancy and Finance are currently recruiting for a client based in Sheffield who are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant on a temporary to permanent basis.
This is a newly created role due to the business going through an acquisition recently and doubling their current turnover. 
They are looking for someone who has experience within a similar position and can hit the ground running.
You will need experience in running a small office and supervising of 5 staff members.

Duties will include;
Monthly management accounts
Cash flow and budgets
Profit and loss
VAT
Monthly payroll
Sales ledger, purchase ledger and credit control
Reconciliations
Dealing with supplier queries
Weekly banking
Management information reporting 

To be considered for this role you MUST have previous experience within a similar role and have good strong knowledge of Sage Line 50 and strong Excel skills.
