Bookkeeper/Financial Accountant
Established manufacturing group based in Tottenham in North London are looking for a diligent, reliable Bookkeeper/Financial accountant to work closely with their Financial Controller. Working as part of a small team in a high volume and often pressurised environment you will be involved with various aspects of the day to day accounting functions including bought and sales ledger work ,invoice processing ,Cash book maintenance for 3 companies ,Bank reconciliations,Vat returns,Intrastat and EEC sales returns. Cash flow and cash management is crucial to this organisation and you will be responsible for accurately reconciling and reporting the daily cash position .You will also assist the FC with month end procedures including accruals ,prepayments and some sales analysis. You should possess strong general financial accounting experience and be willing to cover for other members of staff when necessary .Good knowledge of excel and sage line 50 software is essential and previous experience gained within a production orientated / manufacturing environment would be an advantage .
