BOTANIST. $123K

You feel you have already developed a solid foundation in the practical and technical aspects of being a botanist?

Want to do more than just this?

Botanical surveys are such an important contributor to a suite of environmental management issues, this is an invaluable skill set to develop and maintain, and will always create career opportunities.

However as some companies are quite specialized in only the technical botanical/vegetation survey or field component of a project, opportunities to build on this knowledge can be limited.

The holistic approach this top tier consultancy takes can open some of these doors to expand, but maintaining your key specialty as a base.

With a project mix across mining, government, urban and some research work, this aids in breaking out of a specialist niche only.

At least 5 years as a botanist in the WA environmental is essential, however the more sound your technical skills, the more responsibility this role can entail.
