BP&A Sr. Analyst recruitment
The sucessful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Serves as the regional lead for one or more major projects in MM, ABC, BPM stream
- Delivers the timely production of reports and analysis in line with SLAs
- Performs effective QA controls and personally reviews reports for integrity
- Applies advanced end-to-end understanding of production process
- Anticipates the impact to others engages effected groups beyond direct remit
- Interprets information and provides value-add analysis to empower stakeholder to reduce risk and improve productivity, participates in regular reviews with key stakeholders.
- Innovates and delivers new products/solutions, both tactical and strategic
- Ensures queries are dealt with or referred to appropriate individuals expeditiously
- Proactively participates in cross-team collaboration sessions to share objectives ('why'), agree approach ('how') determine solution ('what')
- Manages small scale projects or components of large scale projects, with limited supervision, adhering to best practice
- Professional at all times, leads by example, accepts feedback modifies behavior
- Makes high quality and timely decisions
- Demonstrates and promotes OT's Operating Principles
- General understanding of Citi, it's products and services and OT's strategy
- Identifies and engages stakeholders at the appropriate level, works towards ensuring project scope and definitions meet objectives, fosters effective partnerships and acts as a trusted advisor
- Effectively communicates at all levels of the organization, including status, issue, and risk disposition to stakeholders on a timely basis
- Sets expectations updates management; no surprises
- Manages staff (directly or indirectly) supporting PMA strategy
- Encourages 2-way communication through regular staff / management meetings
- Develops talent: Provides coaching training (formal and on-the-job), Sets goals in line with PMA strategy, measures performance and provides regular feedback, proactive talent management.
The ideal candidate should have the following requirements:
- Strong Business Analyst / MIS Analyst with minimum four years experience in Investment Banking Operations, ideally within the Busines
- Intelligence realm with exposure to operational risk and control
- Senior Stakeholder management experience
- Global Project Management experience essential
- Senior Stakeholder management experienc
- Advanced proficiency in at least one of the following:
- Operations products and processes, including industry practices and regulatory environment
- Operations Control
- Financial accounting including expenses, B/S Basel II III
- Management accounting including activity based costing
- Project management and business analysis
- Business process re-engineering
- Relational Databases MIS systems
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to build consensus. History of success working in a team environment.
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Quickly grasp and master new requirements and related knowledge
- Monitor tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes
- Willingness to ask questions, challenge the process and seek out answers
- Ability to work independently, multi-task and take ownership of various parts of the project
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong understanding of Project management methodologies and tools
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio are essential -Working knowledge of data warehouse and B.I. tools essential
