Job description
- Overall contractual relationship owner for external agencies, social media platform contacts and internal teams
- Delivering and developing the social strategy and encouraging incorporation of relevant social media techniques into the company culture/products/services
- Responsible for allocation of social media budget and all associated finances
- Measuring and proving the value and ROI of Social Media reporting this back to the business
- Developing and managing associated business processes e.g. moderation, escalation
- Liaising with different departments to increase visibility of activity and social media understanding and weight.
- Distribution of relevant insight and metrics
- Commercial awareness with analytical capability
- Must understand the nature of social media and have a working knowledge of Facebook and Twitter
- A natural predisposition for the online world with a passion for social media and social networks
- A passion for understanding and investigating customer behaviour and how this can improve business performance
- Very strong communication skills with the ability to create strong working relationships with both internal and external customers
- The ability and confidence to establish credibility and persuade others to gain buy in
