This role will see you becoming the source of knowledge for business unit finance, providing critical support to the Finance Manager and directly to the business unit. As the Branch Accountant you will be responsible for managing and monitoring overheads within the business unit including budgeting, forecasting and reporting; prepare monthly management reports and analysis; undertake ad-hoc analysis providing valuable insights into business unit performance; you will also assist in the preparation of annual business plans.
Relevant Tertiary qualifications in finance and accounting will be essential and an awareness of the construction industry including key processes and terminology will be an advantage. Commercial experience including management reporting and analysis, financial analysis and business planning will also be expected.
