Branch Director

Our client are a leading UK bank with an exciting culture looking to recruit an experienced Branch Manager within the banking arena that will help them to continue developing their goals across the Retail network.

This is a new and "hands on" role involving leading, motivating and empowering a multi-segment team in one of our most valuable and complex financial centres. You will also focus on growing the business and releasing the full potential of the Financial Centre.

Engagement of key business stakeholders within the Branch/Town will be a critical part of the role, using experience, personal credibility and commercial acumen to develop and maintain effective relationships within the community. Both internally and externally, you’ll help to transform the business, driving primary banking as the core, and also embedding the proposition to the customers.

Developing, leading and embedding a true customer service culture in the Branch/across the Town team, delivering an improved customer experience and developing effective relationships with key customers, is the core to this role. As a highly credible Leader, you will demonstrate a flexible and adaptable management style when managing large teams and the ability to generate among the team accountability, competence and ownership for the customer experience.

To support you on this journey, you will receive comprehensive training and development over a 24 month period. The focus of the learning programme will be to help set you up for success – ensuring you are equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge and expertise to perform in the role to a high standard.

The successful applicant will have a proven management and sales track record within the banking sector, preferably within retail banking.
