Branch Manager
(To be based in Kuala Lumpur, Batu Pahat and Johor Bahru)
Responsibilities:
- Plans and coordinates sales and marketing activities to achieve assigned branch’s Consumer Banking products sales targets.
- Leads, manages, coaches and motivates branch sales and marketing personnel to aggressively promote and sell Consumer Banking products, such as hire purchase, mortgages, retail deposits, credit cards, debit cards, unit trusts, insurance products, among others.
- Develops, maintains and grows business relationships with existing and new customers to increase customer acquisition and profitability.
- Maintains close business relationship with car dealers, housing developers, salesman, other financial institutions and relevant authorities.
- Oversees daily operations of credit processing, credit administration, loan supervision and branch administration.
- Manages and supervises hire purchase loan supervision team to monitor delinquencies and recoveries to achieve set targets.
- Ensures compliance to all audit and regulatory requirements.
- Ensures customers are satisfied with the services provided and they are served within the established quality standards.
- Manages and controls operational cost within budget.
Requirements:
- Degree/Professional qualification in any discipline.
- Must have at least 7 to 10 years working experience in Consumer Banking, primarily in sales marketing and branch operations
- Certified Credit Professional qualification will be an added advantage.
- Conversant with the statutory requirements and regulations such as, HP Act, Companies Act, BAFIA, BNM GP Guidelines, Road Transport Regulations and other Regulatory Requirements associated with Hire Purchase and Mortgage loans.
- Assertive and is able to communicate effectively across all levels.
- Possess good problem solving skills and customer focused disposition.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu.
- Good marketing and sales management skills.
- Self motivated and a good team player.
- Able to converse in different languages will be an advantage.
- Possess good leadership qualities.
