Branch Manager (Building Society)

My client,  Building Society in South Wales  is looking for a Branch Manager to lead their busy branch in Monmouthshire area. 
The position is permanent to start at the end of November.
Ideally the successful candidate will have CeMap qualifications as part of the role could include Mortgage Consultancy.

The base salary starts at £20 - £25k level but with added bonuses and depending on experience the successful candidate could earn £30k+

Job responsibilities will include:

To ensure the effective and efficient operation of the branch at all times

To ensure the achievement of all targets and objectives, the delivery of a consistently
professional service for personal and business customers and maintenance of
accurate administration

To ensure the provision of a compliant and effective mortgage and insurance advisory
service to existing, new and potential customers of the Society

Key responsibilities:

To support the training and development of each member of your team so that 
they possess the skills and competencies necessary to fulfil their individual role
effectively.

To ensure good communication with all members of your team so that staff are
always aware of changes within or outside the Society which affects their role.

To agree with individual members of your team how they can contribute to the
branch results and regularly review their performance in a constructive and
supportive manner.

To maintain detailed records of business opportunities and ensure action is taken to
secure new and additional income
Ensure all objectives and targets are achieved by the branch under your control.

To develop a network of intermediary business contacts that provide quality
mortgage and investment business and keep up to date with details of our products
and services.
To assist customers in their savings and investment needs.

To ensure branch premises are in a clean and tidy condition with up to date literature
and posters displayed in accordance with instructions.

To Ensure all reports are produced accurately and timely.
